Hornets set for Doucoure battle
Watford could face a battle to keep hold of midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, with Everton the latest club to reportedly show an interest.
The Frenchman has established himself as a pivotal figure over recent seasons, scoring eight goals in 50 Premier League appearances for the Hornets.
The 25-year-old has particularly impressed alongside Etienne Capoue at the heart of the Watford side this term and it appears his contribution has not gone unnoticed as a number of clubs are being linked with his services.
Everton are the latest side to reportedly show an interest and a move to Goodison Park could be tempting for Doucoure given the Toffees are managed by former Watford boss Marco Silva, who played a major role in his development at Vicarage Road.
Silva has already shown he is not afraid to test Watford's resolve after he signed Richarlison from the Hornets during the summer although they had to pay £40million to complete that transfer.
Watford would certainly expect a substantial sum for Doucoure, particularly as the former Rennes star is under contract until the summer of 2023.
