Lazio unwilling to part with Bastos - Report
Lazio are reportedly in talks with Watford over £5million-rated defender Bastos, although they are not keen to sell him.
We reported on Wednesday that the Angolan central defender, whose full name is Bartolomeu Jacinto Quissanga, is the subject of interest from the Hornets.
Rome-based newspaper Il Messagero claims the two clubs are in negotiations - although Lazio have no intention of selling the player right now.
Bastos made 18 Serie A appearances for Lazio last term, but the club signed Slovakian centre-back Denis Vavro earlier this summer to add further competition in the central defensive positions.
The 28-year-old Angola international had a spell at Russian club Rostov before he joined Lazio - where he could have crossed paths with Watford head coach Javi Gracia, who coached at Rubin Kazan at the time.
If Gracia gets his way the pair will be reunited but it appears I Biancocelesti will not let him go easily.
