Milan pushing for Watford's 40m-rated man
AC Milan are pushing to sign Gerard Deulofeu with sporting director Leonardo in constant contact with the attacker's agent and Watford.
Calciomercato claim the Serie A club are 'more convinced' about the Spaniard now after his recent stellar displays for the Hornets, including his match-winning performance in the FA Cup semi-final.
Watford are understood to value him at 40m euros and Milan are unlikely to shy away from negotiations at that level.
Calciomercato claim the 25-year-old is keen on a return to Milan for a second stint, having enjoyed a successful loan spell at the San Siro in 2017.
However, the Rossoneri are not certain to lure him back with the player stipulating he wants to play Champions League football and Milan only a point clear of Roma in fourth - the last available spot in Serie A.
