Trio sidelined for Fulham meeting

2nd April 2019, 10:33 by Bobbie Jackson

Tom Cleverley, Isaac Success and Adalberto Penaranda have been ruled out of Watford’s meeting with Fulham on Tuesday.

The Hornets will already be thinking ahead to Sunday's FA Cup semi-final tie with Fulham at Wembley and Javi Gracia could rotate for Tuesday's outing at Vicarage Road.

Cleverley hasn't featured since the defeat to Manchester City on March 9 although Watford were hoping to have him back this week.

The former Manchester United midfielder has failed to fully recover from a calf problem and could also miss Sunday's engagement.

Success came off the bench late on in Saturday's loss to United but sustained a knee injury and will need to be assessed.

Venezuela international Penaranda is struggling with a hamstring issue and Gracia admits he is not sure when he will be ready.
