Watford ace wanted by another German club

22nd July 2019, 11:14 by Simon Barlow

Hertha Berlin have reportedly identified Watford's Dodi Lukebakio and Arsenal's Reiss Nelson as top targets this summer.

German magazine Kicker claims the capital club are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and have put two players who spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga at the top of their list.

Lukebakio spent last season on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf and he impressed during his stint in Germany, scoring 10 goals from 31 Bundesliga appearances.

The 21-year-old's impressive performances throughout the campaign caught the attention of several European clubs and he could be in line for a permanent exit from Vicarage Road this summer.

The report claims Hertha have been told he would cost 15m euros to sign permanently - 5m euros less than reports suggested earlier this summer when French Ligue 1 side Lille and Borussia Dortmund were linked.

Arsenal winger Nelson, who impressed on loan at Hoffenheim in 2018-19, would apparently cost more.
