Watford duo to miss key games for loan clubs
Hercules Alicante want Watford's help in getting on-loan Jaime Alvarado off an early Colombia call-up for the Under-20 World Cup.
The central midfielder has been used only as a substitute by the Segunda B side as they chase promotion to the second flight of Spanish football.
But they are unhappy about Colombia calling up the 19-year-old, who is owned by Watford, for a training camp that starts 17 days before the Under-20 finals in Poland.
Alvarado missed almost two months of the campaign earlier this season when he was helping Colombia qualify through the South American Under-20 tournament and Hercules sporting director Javier Portillo is desperate to keep hold of him for the run-in.
Huesca face a similar situation with Watford-owned striker Cucho Hernandez, who could miss the final two matches of their Primera Division relegation battle.
