Blades turn down Hammers offer

29th January 2019, 09:58 by Nick Harris

West Ham's £4m move for Sheffield United midfielder John Fleck has been knocked back by the Blades.

The Scottish midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs but Blades boss Chris Wilder is said to be determined to keep him at Bramall Lane as they push for promotion.

Whether the Hammers will up their reported £4m bid for the former Rangers schemer, who only signed a new long-term contract just over a year ago, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the Hammers continue to be linked with a move for Portugal Under-19 talent Mesaque Dju from Benfica.
