Boro targeting Hammers wing man Diangana
West Ham's highly-rated winger Grady Diangana is being linked with a season-long loan move to Championship side Middlesbrough.
New Boro head coach Jonathan Woodgate is looking to bring in some attacking quality to the Riverside Stadium having replaced Tony Pulis in the managerial hotseat last month.
And, while several second-tier sides have expressed an interest in Diangana, it is being reported that Boro are heading the queue for his signature on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old England Under-20 international scored twice on his Hammers' debut as they thrashed Macclesfield 8-0 in the Carabao Cup last September and he went on to make 21 appearances last term.
However, Hammers' boss Manuel Pellegrini is thought to be keen on sending him out on loan to give him a full season of regular first-team football and Boro could be an ideal destination.
A decision on Diangana is set to be made once the Londoners return from their Asia Trophy exploits in China.
