Haller to excite Hammers fans – Noble
West Ham captain Mark Noble feels striker Sebastien Haller will create a buzz among the fans in the coming years.
Haller, 25, became the Hammers' record signing when penning a five-year deal at the London Stadium after moving from Eintracht Frankfurt for £45m.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini hopes the former France Under-21 ace can help propel the East End outfit to greater heights after their up-and-down 2018-19 campaign.
The man born in the Paris suburbs scored 15 Bundesliga goals from 29 appearances last term but Noble feels it is more than just his statistics that make Haller a great acquisition.
"It's not only the player now, but it's also their personality and we've bought someone who wants to be a West Ham player and wants to work, so I'm really excited about welcoming him into the squad," he told the club's official website.
Haller's return of five goals from nine Europa League games last term got him noticed and Noble believes that the former FC Utrecht hitman is just the type of player that the Hammers' faithful want to see.
"I've watched him a few times on TV and he's strong, you know, and he's good with his feet, good in the air and he can finish, so he is someone I think the West Ham fans are really going to enjoy," he added.
