Hammers face serious rivals for Fulham hitman

4th April 2019, 14:32 by Simon Barlow

West Ham face competition from Everton, Spurs, Southampton and Leicester for the signature of Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer.

The Hammers are desperate for reinforcements up front with Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic all reported to be potentially leaving the club this summer.

Manuel Pellegrini's side will compete with several other Premier League clubs and a top Chinese outfit for the signature of the Serbian international, according to Sportski Zurnal.

The Daily Express have claimed West Ham are preparing a bid for Fulham's top scorer after the west London club's relegation was confirmed this week.

That is expected to result in several players leaving Craven Cottage.

But Southampton, Everton, Leicester City, Tottenham and Guangzhou Evergrande are also said to be interested in the 10-goal striker.
