Players returning boosts Hammers

26th April 2019, 14:55 by Nick Harris

Manuel Pellegrini is boosted by the return of a host of players as West Ham head to Tottenham looking for a win.

The Irons are looking to become the first side to pick up a win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as they were when they went to Arsenal's Emirates Stadium back in 2007.

Carlos Sanchez is back after eight months out with a knee injury he picked up in the League Cup. The Colombia international arrived from Fiorentina last summer but played just six times before he suffered knee ligament damage against Macclesfield in October.

Meanwhile, Javier Hernandez has shaken off an ear complaint and is available and Manuel Lanzini is expected to come back into the squad.

Jack Wilshere is back in contention after returning to the squad last week.

Ryan Fredericks could come in for Pablo Zabaleta, with Lanzini replacing Robert Snodgrass, and Lucas Perez expected to keep Marko Arnautovic out of the side after his performance last weekend.
