Red Devils planning Rice bid
West Ham centre-back Declan Rice is one of five players that Manchester United want to sign, according to English media reports.
The England international has enjoyed a dramatic rise in the last 18 months and he is now considered one of West Ham's biggest assets.
Rice has made 56 league appearances since making his debut in 2015 and he recently grabbed the headlines after switching his allegiance to England from the Republic of Ireland.
His performances have caught the eye of Red Devils scouts and boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he looks to revamp his Man United side.
The Norwegian is looking to sell some of his biggest stars in order to make space for up to five new signings.
While Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly have all impressed this season, Solskjaer sees 20-year-old Rice as their long-term successor and is willing to splash the cash in the summer in order to prize him away from the London Stadium.
