Skipper demands Hammers improvement
Captain Mark Noble has called on his West Ham side to produce a performance when they host Brighton on Wednesday.
The Hammers enjoyed a record-breaking December, winning five of their seven games to pick up 15 points for the first time in a calendar month since the inception of the Premier League.
However, 2018 ended on a negative note with Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Burnley but Manuel Pellegrini's side has shown in recent weeks that they can bounce back from defeat, getting the better of Southampton after going down to Watford before Christmas.
Noble admits it is important his side do not dwell on their loss at Turf Moor and speaking to the club's website, says they are looking forward to trying to put things right against Brighton.
"It's football. I've said in the past that we will get beat," he said. "We lost against Watford and we bounced back and showed our quality. We know we can do that again.
"You've got to put defeats to bed in this league because, if you dwell on it, you can get beat again. We've got a good bunch of lads, so we look forward to going again against Brighton on Wednesday."
