Bonatini happy at Forest
Wolves striker Leo Bonatini admits he is happy to stay at Nottingham Forest for a longer spell after joining on loan in January.
The Brazilian was a key component in Wolves’ storming promotion from the Championship last season but found opportunities limited in the Premier League this season due to the signing of Raul Jimenez in the summer.
Bonatini made only seven appearances in the Premier League for Nuno’s side, with all them coming from the bench.
He has so far made four appearances for Forest, failing to find the back for the net but the 24-year-old is content at the club and says he would like to stay longer.
“It is a really good team and they have very good conditions here,” Bonatini said.
“Even if we don’t achieve the play-offs and we are staying in the Championship next season, I would like to stay because I have found it really good.
“But of course I know that it is not just about me; I have a contract with Wolves. But I am enjoying being here.
“I think it depends how I finish the season here. Wolves are doing well, too.
“I don’t know. It’s something we’ll just have to wait until the summer.”
