Nuno - Wolves won't rest on laurels
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo says he will not let his players rest on their laurels during the remaining weeks of the season.
The Molineux-based outfit have been pulling up trees throughout their first season back in the Premier League, as they currently sit 'best of the rest' in seventh position and, last week, they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup where they will take on Manchester United.
Indeed, Wolves are unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions and they will be looking to extend that record when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Nuno certainly has no plans to let his players take it easy, despite their comfortable league position, and he insists they will continue to work hard on a game-by-game basis.
"We’re trying, always trying to become better - that’s our philosophy. I think we’re doing a good job but still have a long way to go, so no rest, always work hard," the Portuguese told reporters.
"It’s really important to try to achieve the consistency in our performances. We know how hard it is, but we go game-by-game and always try to improve and become a better team."
Wolves claimed a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth when the two teams met at Molineux earlier in the season - Raul Jimenez and Ivan Cavaleiro grabbed the goals that day.
