Nuno considers Dendoncker recall for Gunners' visit

24th April 2019, 09:27 by Chris Rivers

Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo could reportedly replace Morgan Gibbs-White with Leander Dendoncker for Wednesday's visit of Arsenal.

Nuno has no fresh injury concerns and with a fully-fit squad it is just a case of deciding whether or not he wants to rotate after three games without a win.

Wolves were frustrated on Saturday as Brighton held them to a goalless draw although Nuno is reportedly unlikely to make too many alterations, with Dendoncker for Gibbs-White potentially the only change.

Wolves have slipped to 10th in recent weeks but are still just two points off seventh and a potential route into Europe.

Nuno has called on his players to take advantage of their game in hand on the sides around them and go for the kill against top-four hopefuls Arsenal.

"Every game is a new challenge, it's a new opportunity to become better as a team and as players," he said.

"That's what we tell the players, compete to the maximum of your ability and just go for it. It's not where we want to go, it's just a game.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday), think about tomorrow. Play the game tomorrow and don't think about anything else."
