Nuno delighted with flexible Traore
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has praised the versatility of Adama Traore.
Former Spain Under-21 international Traore was deployed as a right wing-back in the 2-0 victory against Cardiff City last time out after Matt Doherty was dropped to the bench.
The 23-year-old is now pushing to retain his place for the clash at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon as Wolves look to continue their quest for a European finish with nine games remaining.
Speaking about the versatility of Traore, Nuno said: "It's one of the things he can do. Adama is unique. He always has space to give things to the team. His speed, his one-versus-one, there are not many players that can achieve these kind of performances."
He added: "It's not about that [persuading him to play wing-back]. In that moment the team required that option. You can see both [regular] wing-backs did not play that game. It goes back to what we want for the squad. We don't have to persuade him, what we need to do is make him believe.
"Make him realise and the team itself that he is different. We need to adjust to exploit the maximum talent that Adam can give us."
