Wolves boss to keep the faith
Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that John Ruddy will start in goal for Wolves when Cardiff City arrive at Molineux on Saturday.
Nuno, who had been expected to go with the same line-up that suffered a shock defeat to Huddersfield in midweek, explained his reasoning behind the call-up for the back-up goalkeeper.
"John Ruddy's going to play tomorrow, we consider it's the right moment to prepare him for what's coming in front of us (the FA Cup)," he said.
"It's the right moment to get some time competition and be stronger."
Nuno has no new injury concerns so Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota are once again set to lead the line in a 3-5-2 formation against Neil Warnock's Cardiff side.
The Portuguese boss will renew his rivalry with Warnock, with the pair not exactly seeing eye to eye in previous encounters between the two sides who earned promotion to the Premier League last season.
