Wolves striker delighted to make debut
Niall Ennis was delighted to make his debut for Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves side against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup.
The 19-year-old appeared for the final few minutes of the FA Cup replay win on Tuesday against the side where he was on loan at last season until injury cut that short.
Ennis, who has been at Wolves since he was seven years old, became the latest youngster to get a first-team debut this season, after Benny Ashley-Seal, Pedro Goncalves, Elliot Watt and Ryan Giles.
"It felt good! I've been at the club since I was seven so it was good to get on the pitch in front of the fans," a delighted Ennis said.
"I'm over the moon. You don't fully expect to come on but you have to be ready and prepared.
"I was a bit nervous but you need that you get you through the game.
"It was good to get an early touch. We train with them a lot which makes you more at ease because you know the style of play, it makes you confident on the ball.
"The fans helped me too. It made me proud, I've been here for so long."
