Broncos confirm Sammut exit
Jarrod Sammut will be leaving the London Broncos after failing to come to an agreement on a new contract.
Australian Sammut was London's hero in the Million Pound Game this season with his two goals securing a narrow 4-2 victory over Toronto at the Lamport Stadium in October.
The Broncos were hopeful of convincing the 31-year-old to extend his stay at the Trailfinders Sports Ground but the club have announced their star man will be plying his trade elsewhere.
"Following the club trying everything they could to re-sign Jarrod Sammut he has unfortunately decided that, due to personal reasons, he will be leaving London Broncos," a club statement said.
"We thank Jarrod for his time at the club and wish him luck for his future career."
