Dragons haunt Wolves once again
Catalans Dragons inflicted Warrington Wolves' first defeat of the Super League campaign after a thrilling 23-22 victory in Perpignan.
Warrington headed to the south of France looking for revenge after they suffered a Challenge Cup final defeat to the Dragons in their last meeting in the 2018 campaign.
However, the Wire head back across the Channel with the same losing feeling after Catalans produced the performance of their campaign so far to claim the three points.
The Dragons had a 15-6 advantage going into the break as Brayden Wiliame and Kenny Edwards sent over for the hosts, with Sam Tomkins looking confident from the kicking tee and Toni Gigot adding a drop goal just before the break.
Gigot went over for a try in the second half but it looked like Warrington were going to claim the win thanks to tries from Stefan Ratchford, Daryl Clark, Ryan Atkins and Declan Patton.
However, a late long-range penalty from Tomkins ensured it was the Dragons who claimed the spoils to break Warrington hearts once again.
