Dwyer urges Rhinos to kick on
Drop-goal hero Brad Dwyer wants Leeds Rhinos to put a winning run together after a thrilling 21-20 golden-point win over Castleford.
The Rhinos managed to pick up just their second win of the Super League season, thanks to a long-range drop-goal from Dwyer after the scores had finished on 20-20 after 80 minutes.
Having had such a tough start to the season, Dwyer claims Leeds were due a win and now hopes the Rhinos can kick on and start climbing up from the bottom of the table.
"It was a bit far out and it was low but I just though I could score. I found myself with the ball and thought why not? I thought we have been due one, as we've lost games where we've played well," he told Sky Sports.
"Hopefully we can learn from that and go on a bit of a roll now."
