Ellis backs Tigers to win maiden Grand Final
Castleford Tigers' Jamie Ellis believes his team can still win the Grand Final after watching the Challenge Cup final last week.
Warrington Wolves went into the Wembley showpiece as the underdogs but stunned St Helens 18-4 in London.
The rest of Super League have now taken confidence from that result but Castleford still need to secure their spot in the play-offs.
Castleford will travel to St Helens on Friday, before then taking on Hull FC and Wigan Warriors.
Daryl Powell's men are just two points behind the top five and Ellis says confidence is high after Warrington's win.
He told the Pontefract and Castleford Express: "It just showed last weekend, anything can happen. Warrington weren't given a chance of winning it.
"It is going to be a tough game for us this week, St Helens are the league leaders and they are going to be fighting and wanting a bit of a reaction, but we are looking forward to it.
"That is going to be better for us down the line, playing their best team and really going for it.
"Going into the play-offs that is going to be beneficial for us."
