Ellis handed new role at Hull
Hull FC have announced Gareth Ellis as the club's new Emerging Talent Coach ahead of the new season.
The former Leeds Rhinos star ended his career at the KCOM Stadium after winning the Challenge Cup in 2017.
Ellis, a former Black and Whites captain, will now work with the club's youngsters as he tries to help them transition into the first-team squad.
He will work with former player Kirk Yeaman, who is one of the club’s conditioners, as well as physio Chris John.
Speaking about his future plans, Ellis told the Hull Daily Mail last month: "I have found that my home is probably more involved with the team and making an impact that way. That’s how I can get more job satisfaction and the way the club can get more out of me as well.
"During this process I’ve realised I want to have more of an impact on our younger players in terms of their performances."
Tom Hill offers a strong insight into football and rugby league, whilst also having a good knowledge of several other sports including boxing, horse racing and American Football.
