Farrell happy with new duo

7th December 2018, 12:15 by Alex Jack

Wigan forward Liam Farrell feels the club's new arrivals Jarrod Sammut and Joe Bullock are settling in well at the Warriors.

It's all change at the Super League champions with the departure of star players over the off-season and the arrival of a new head coach in the form of Adrian Lam.

Wigan have been working on bringing fresh faces to the DW Stadium ahead of next season and Sammut and Bullock are just two of the new players through the door.

Although it's just pre-season at the moment, Farrell feels both Sammut and Bullock are adapting well to their new environment.

“Joe has been in since pre-season started on day one and he is keeping his head down and working hard, and making a bit of a name for himself,” Farrell told Wigan Today. “He’s pushing for a place in the side.

“And Jarrod only came in last weekend so he’s still finding his feet a bit, but he’ll bring something different to the squad, as well as some experience."
