Fast start delights Saints
St Helens boss Justin Holbrook says his side deserve plenty of plaudits for their excellent start to the 2019 season.
Saints went back to the top of the Super League on Friday with a 26-0 win over London Broncos, maintaining their perfect start to the season.
Dominique Peyroux, Regan Grace, Theo Fages, Lachlan Coote and Kevin Naiqama all crossed for the hosts, with Coote adding three goals.
Holbrook was clearly delighted with his side's exploits on Friday and says their showing was the culmination of a string of fine performances so far in 2019.
"I want to give our boys a big rap," he said. "These can be difficult games and we turned up and put in a quality performance which is the most pleasing thing. We kept calm and it was a great performance."
St Helens are next in action on Thursday when they travel down the M6 to take bottom club Huddersfield giants.
