Fresh injury blow for Robins
Hull KR coach Tony Smith has suffered an injury setback with Kane Linnett set to miss their next match.
The battle against the drop takes a week off due to the Challenge Cup semi-finals taking place this weekend and the Robins were hoping to have Linnett back in action by the time they face Castleford Tigers.
However, he remains sidelined with his calf issue and will not be ready to face Cas on August 4.
Smith admits the Australian centre, who notched his ninth try of the Super League campaign in the home defeat to Huddersfield Giants last time out, will be a huge miss.
"He's got a small tear in his calf," the KR coach told Hull Live.
"He'll miss one maybe two games. It's enough to keep him out but it's not a major one.
"The scan showed there was a tear in there. He's quite functional and he thought there was just a tightness in there.
"The tear needs time to repair so we'll give him that time and he'll be back in no time."
