Holbrook revels in Saints progress
St Helens head coach Justin Holbrook feels his team are making progress by the week following their 26-4 win over Salford on Thursday.
James Roby bagged himself a brace, while Mark Percival, Jonny Lomax and Regan Grace also went over as the Merseysiders made it four wins from four in Super League.
Holbrook was delighted his players maintained their perfect start and feels his side are getting better and better as they prepare for a clash with newly-promoted London Broncos next week.
"Salford started the season really well and they've got some dangerous attacking threats so we had to do a really good job on them and we did,” the former Sydney Roosters coach said.
"For us to defend the way we did was fantastic. I thought this was our best performance so far.
"To have the whole team play well really is pleasing as a coach. We controlled the game really well, I'm really happy with the team performance."
