Holbrook set to be offered NRL return
NRL duo Canterbury Bulldogs and Gold Coast Titans are reportedly keen to bring in St Helens head coach Justin Holbrook.
The 43-year-old has been a revelation since stepping into his first role as head coach with St Helens after developing them into one of the most eye-catching teams in Super League.
Their performances have been to such a high standard that they currently sit eight points clear at the top of the standings.
But he is not certain to be in charge next season as talks over a new contract appear to have stalled - despite Holbrook recently claiming it was close to being agreed.
In the meantime, Canterbury Bulldogs and Gold Coast Titans have expressed a desire to link up with the Australian.
They are currently the bottom two sides, having won four games apiece, and are keen to bring in a new head coach.
Holbrook spent time on the coaching staff of Canterbury Bulldogs shortly after retiring from playing and they may hold the upper hand in securing his services if he opts to move on.
