Hull FC confirm 10 players' departures
The end of Hull FC's Super League campaign has resulted in 10 players departing the KCOM Stadium.
The Black and Whites narrowly missed out on a play-off place with Castleford Tigers snatching fifth place by virtue of a superior points difference.
However, it provides coach Lee Radford with extra time for some squad rebuilding looking ahead to the 2020 campaign.
World Cup winner Sika Manu and NRL veteran Mark Minichiello have confirmed their retirement, while Mickey Paea is returning to Australia to be closer to his family.
Danny Washbrook, 33, confirmed that he has ended his second spell with Hull FC, where he made over 200 appearances and won the Challenge Cup in 2016 and 2017, with a move to York Knights on the cards.
Joe Westerman is on the lookout for a new club after also ending his second stint on Humberside, where the 29-year-old has made a combined 159 appearances in his career.
Chris Green is departing after making over 150 appearances for the Airlie Birds, while hooker Jez Litten and second-rower Dean Hadley are to make the short switch to rivals Hull KR.
Jack Logan and Levy Nzoungou are the other two players who have also left Hull FC.
Wingers Mahe Fonua and Adam Swift, hooker Jordan Johnstone, and the forward trio of Josh Jones, Manu Ma'u and Ligi Sau have already been confirmed as new arrivals for the club ahead of 2020.
