Injuries stack up for Rovers
Tim Sheens believes Hull KR will be in a 'dark place' until the injury crisis that has gripped the club, starts to clear.
After losing Danny McGuire and Shaun Lunt to injury during the defeat against Hull FC, Rovers were hit with more injury pain against Warrington Wolves on Easter Monday.
Not only did they suffer another heavy defeat, this time losing 54-6, but they also lost Mitch Garbutt, who is expected to be out for six weeks, and Tommy Lee to injury.
"I'm not so much embarrassed but disappointed for everyone at the club and the supporters," Sheens said. "It's difficult in this situation to produce magic out of nothing. The youngsters out there today were really put under the pump.
"We've got guys playing busted otherwise we wouldn't have been able to put a team out and that number would surprise you. We are in a bit of a hole at the moment and it's just time and effort that's going to work it out.
"We will get people back but it's going to be a dark place until we do."
