Lam believes in Wigan play-off push

30th August 2019, 11:08 by Tom Hill

Wigan Warriors boss Adrian Lam claims he is not worried by his side's position as they try to secure a playoff spot.

The Warriors are fourth in the Super League table with just three rounds remaining.

They are level on points with fifth-placed Hull FC, and one defeat could see them slip out of the play-off positions.

Salford's win over Warrington moved them up to third, but Lam says his team's fragile position is nothing to worry about.

He told Wigan Today: "I'm sure they're aware of the table, but I always talk the positive.

"I'm not the glass half-empty coach, I'm always talking about the next level – we've worked really hard to have an attitude here, and we're in a good place.

"They're in a really positive mindset, their attitude has been fantastic, and my focus has been on finishing second.

"We still feel there are two more levels in us."
