Lam fears for O'Loughlin's season
Wigan Warriors head coach Adrian Lam says captain Sean O'Loughlin's pectoral injury could rule him out for the remainder of the season.
The 36-year-old forward suffered the injury in Thursday's 15-14 victory at Hull FC, with Zak Hardaker scoring the decisive drop goal to claim the two points for the visitors at the KCOM Stadium.
With the Super League season starting to approach the business end of the campaign, Lam has admitted O'Loughlin may not play any further part in the Warriors' hopes of securing victory in the Grand Final.
Lam said: "It's sad news. That might be it for the rest of the year for him. It looks like he's got a torn pec. I don't know the time frame, it may be six weeks, it may be 10 weeks."
He added: "It's a massive blow but we've probably played half the season without him."
