Lui joins Leeds as Lolohea exits
Leeds Rhinos have announced they have signed Robert Lui from Salford Red Devils with Tui Lolohea moving in the opposite direction.
Both players have initially signed on loan until the end of the campaign but have agreed two-year deals from 2020.
Leeds have paid an undisclosed fee to secure Lui, who has scored 26 tries in 87 appearances for the Red Devils.
Lolohea only joined Leeds at the end of 2018 and leaves Headingley less than a year into his three-year contract.
Despite making just 15 Super League appearances, Lolohea believes he can guide Salford into the play-offs.
"This is a new challenge for me and I really want to be competing in those play-offs with Salford," Lolohea told the Red Devils' website.
"The level of footy at Salford has been really high and I think I can get back to playing my best there."
Meanwhile, Lui says he cannot wait to pull a Rhinos jersey on as he tries to help Richard Agar's side move away from the relegation zone.
He told the Rhinos' website: "It is great to be here. I can't wait to pull on the Leeds jersey and run out at Emerald Headingley. Having spoken with Richard Agar, I know what he wants from me for the team and I am looking forward to the challenge here at the Rhinos."
