Massey influence impresses Powell
Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has praised Nathan Massey's recent form, saying he has "responded to a couple of chats".
Powell has singled out the prop for his improved performances and says the 28-year-old stood out in the 42-10 win over Leeds Rhinos on Sunday.
"Nathan Massey has played really well for the last four weeks. He’s really responded to a couple of chats," Powell said.
"He was outstanding and his 20 carries (against Leeds) brought big metres - I think he was our biggest metre carrier.
"That’s great to see someone like Mass going really well.
"He’s a Cas boy and he’s playing some of his best rugby at the moment, which is great to see."
Castleford are next in action when they take on Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday night where Joe Wardle is expected to return to action following his recent injury.
