O'Loughlin wary of Hull trip
Sean O'Loughlin has described Wigan Warriors' Betfred Super League clash at Hull FC on Thursday night as a "battle of wills".
Wigan go to the KCOM Stadium hoping to maintain their recent fine form, having won six of their last seven games.
Warriors sit fourth in the table so are well placed to progress to the end-of-season play-offs and O'Loughlin says it's important they keep ticking over by picking up more victories at this stage.
He told the club's website: "We've found our feet these past few weeks and have had a good run of form, so we want to keep building. We have put ourselves in a reasonable position, but we want to cement our place in the playoffs and then try to finish as high as possible."
Hull will be aiming to bounce back from their Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Warrington Wolves on Sunday and O'Loughlin says Wigan should expect a response.
He added: "The talk in their camp will be about reacting to that and focusing on maintaining their position in the league. I think it will be a battle of wills and a tough game as they will be looking for a response."
