Price pens new Warrington deal
Warrington Wolves coach Steve Price has penned a new two-year contract extension with the club.
Price was due to fall out of contract at the end of 2019, but Wire have moved quickly to secure his future, and the Australian will now stay at the Halliwell Jones Stadium until at least November 2021.
Price is delighted to have penned the deal and is looking forward to the challenge that is on the horizon, after just missing out on two pieces of silverware last season.
"It’s a fantastic club with great people involved, so I wasn’t going anywhere," he said. "I came here for a reason, to get that silverware.
“I love being part of Warrington and my wife and kids are happy and settled here.
"I honestly feel we can make a difference with the strength of our playing group and I’m really looking forward to 2019.
"We are building strong relationships with the town’s community clubs and I can see young Warrington kids playing a big part in this club’s future in the years to come."
