Robins boss Smith open to further additions

7th August 2019, 18:06 by Gareth Freeman

Hull KR boss Tony Smith might bring in a few more new faces before the transfer deadline on Friday.

Smith has recruited Luis Johnson, Daniel Murray, Harvey Livett, Matt Parcell, Kyle Trout, Dean Hadley and Jez Litten since replacing Tim Sheens earlier in the campaign, and the Australian says he is still keeping an eye out for more fresh faces.

"We're always looking and we'll keep looking until the end," Smith told Hull Live. "As I've said before, it's difficult to unearth somebody worthwhile and available. I think we've done a pretty good job of that so far."

Hull KR claimed a crucial win over Castleford Tigers last time out but remain in danger as they are just two points clear of bottom club London Broncos in the Super League table.

The Robins are in action on Friday night at play-off hopefuls Wigan Warriors.
