Tomkins linked with exit

18th September 2019, 16:16 by Nick Harris

Joel Tomkins is set to leave Hull KR despite having two years remaining on his contract with the Robins.

The 32-year-old resigned from his position at Wigan in June 2018 and took up a playing role at Hull KR.

He was made captain of the side this season after signing a three-year deal with the club but now looks set for an early exit after what has been described as an amicable agreement between the two parties.

Tomkins was a vital part of the side as they successfully battled against the dreaded drop but it looks like he will be playing his rugby somewhere else next term.
