Tomkins wants French move - reports

16th April 2018, 12:46 by Nick Harris

According to Catalans owner Bernard Guasch, Wigan Warriors star Sam Tomkins wants to go to the south of France and join the Dragons.

There has been speculation that Tomkins, who is out of contract at Wigan at the end of the season, will be on his way to the south of France come the summer, although there has been no official confirmation.

Now Guasch has said, in an interview with French newspaper L’Independant, that both Tomkins and his family are looking forward to moving to the south of France.

Guasch said: “What I know is that the player and his family want to come to Perpignan and we want it.

“From there, you draw the conclusions you want.”
