Warrington coach plays down Clark concerns
Warrington coach Steve Price says the injury Daryl Clark picked up at Catalans Dragons isn't serious.
The Wire went down 23-22 in Perpignan as Price's side suffered their first defeat of the season.
Clark was forced off on Saturday but Price doesn't think the 26-year-old will face a significant spell on the sidelines.
"Daz [Clark] is not too bad, just a bit of cramp in his calf," he said, as reported by the club's official website. "He was doing some really good things in that second half but I thought to get Jake Mamo out there and give us some spark."
Warrington take on Castleford Tigers on Thursday and the 26-year-old will be keen to face his former club.
Price admits he was disappointed by the loss to the Dragons but he expects a response from Warrington.
He added: "We came here last year and had a really solid win with virtually the same type of preparation. No excuses tonight credit to Catalans.
"I have the utmost confidence in our playing group. I know what sort of team we have here."
