Wire centre heading to NRL

4th July 2019, 15:08 by Bobbie Jackson

Warrington Wolves have confirmed centre Bryson Goodwin will return to South Sydney Rabbitohs at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old left his homeland of Australia for the first time in 2018 to link up with Super League side Warrington.

He did initially agree to sign for Leigh Centurions but after they were relegated Warrington swooped for his services.

Goodwin has scored 23 tries and 43 goals in 49 appearances for Warrington and has also featured for New Zealand on 10 occasions.

Warrington said in a statement: "Warrington Wolves confirm that centre Bryson Goodwin will leave the club at the end of the current season, when his two-year contract comes to a close, re-signing for NRL side South Sydney Rabbitohs."
