Wire veteran joins Championship outfit
Championship side Leigh Centurions have drafted in Warrington Wolves half-back Kevin Brown on loan for the rest of the season.
The move means Brown's career with the Super League club is officially over as his contract at the Halliwell Jones Stadium is set to expire at the end of the campaign.
Brown has been on the sidelines all year after suffering an Achilles injury in pre-season but Leigh believe he can boost them for the end-of-season run-in.
"I've worked very hard to get back to playing after my injury," Brown told the club's official website. "I've felt great for the past three or four weeks now."
Leigh currently sit third in the Championship and are in the hunt to return to the Super League after a two-year exile.
