Hartley could return on May 4 - Boyd
Northampton Saints chief Chris Boyd has announced that Dylan Hartley is set to return to action against Worcester on May 4.
The England co-captain has not played a competitive fixture since December 21 after suffering a knee injury.
He went under the knife in February and many feared he would not play again this season, but Hartley has worked hard to return.
The Saints hooker has made just eight Premiership appearances this season but Boyd has confirmed he is ready to return at Franklin's Gardens on May 4.
He told the Rugby Paper: "He's not very far away now and latest medicals say he could be available for Worcester.
"Time will tell, but he's been really positive around what he's been able to do post-surgery. He's been working bloody hard and there's plenty of his sweat on the floor.
"He's been really positive about what the knee's felt like post that hard work. He's actually in a really good place physically and mentally."
