Jones fires Scarlets warning
Ceri Jones says the Dragons are expecting a backlash when they face Scarlets in Saturday's Pro14 derby clash.
Scarlets were hammered 34-5 by Cardiff Blues last Saturday, ending an unbeaten home run that stretched 26 games, and Jones is expecting a reaction from the 'wounded dog'.
Dragons go into the game full of confidence after beating Ospreys on Sunday, but Jones says his side will have to be at their best again this weekend.
"We are under no illusions about how tough the task is going to be," Jones said.
"We are going to go and try and put our game onto the field and we showed against the Ospreys that we can be very combative at the right time.
"We maybe didn't have as much possession and territory as we wanted but we really stuck in the game.
"You have seen the Scarlets' record at home. They had a poor performance last week by their standards but they are going to be coming out as a wounded dog, and wounded dogs like to bite."
