Jones looking forward at Scarlets
Dan Jones has signed a new contract to keep him at the Scarlets and is looking forward to the future.
The 23-year old fly-half has made 23 starts this season, and 83 appearances in total since his debut against Cardiff Blues back in 2014, scoring 423 points along the way.
He is the latest player to sign a new deal with the Llanelli-based club following Rob Evans, Ken Owens, Jon Davies, Johnny McNicholl, Werner Kruger and Dan Davis.
Jones told Planetrugby: "This is my home region, I came through the academy at the Scarlets and I am delighted to be continuing my rugby here.
"There is strong competition for the 10 jersey and I have been happy with the amount of game-time I have had.
"We haven't had the season we wanted, but we still have something to play for in the coming weeks.
"The boys are ambitious, there is a good buzz here. We have enjoyed plenty of success in recent seasons and hopefully we can achieve more in the coming years under a new coaching team."
