Jones out to protect Cokanasiga
England coach Eddie Jones is looking to protect talented youngster Joe Cokanasiga from all the hype.
Cokanasiga, 21, was named man of the match in England's crushing 57-14 Six Nations victory over Italy at the weekend but has not been selected for the finale with Scotland.
The media went into overdrive following his display against the Azzurri, likening the Bath flyer to New Zealand legend Jonah Lomu.
Jones felt that was a "rubbish" comparison, given that Cokanasiga is just beginning his career and still has much to prove.
The Australian tactician has opted to leave the Fiji-born ace out of his squad and suggested that he will look to make sure the player stays grounded and does not get caught up in all the media attention.
"The media has an effect on the player and we need to be conscious of that," he told BBC Sport.
"I think it is important, particularly in England, because I have seen so many good young players that start with this boom and then only play three or four Tests. I want him to play 100 Tests for England."
