No need for panic - Cheika
Australia head coach Michael Cheika says he will not be rushed into naming former attack coach Stephen Larkham's replacement.
After a dreadful 2018, Australia decided to let Larkham go from his position in early February following disagreements between the former fly-half and Cheika over strategy and game philosophy.
The Wallabies are yet to name a new attack coach but there are reports suggesting Scott Wisemantel, who is working with Eddie Jones at England, is being lined up as a replacement.
However, Cheika, who says there is no need to rush into an appointment, has poured cold water over these claims and revealed the candidates they are looking at work Down Under.
"There's no major hurry, we're not training yet are we?," he told Fox Sports. "There's a few things that I want to unfold first and I probably reckon about May sometime in the lead-up to another camp.
"I've got a few people in mind. I'm not going to tell you that because the people don't know. They're in Australia."
