Rennie hails Warriors' attitude

14th April 2019, 12:02 by Bobbie Jackson

Dave Rennie has praised the attitude of his Glasgow Warriors side after their recent disappointment in the Champions Cup.

The Scottish Pro 14 side were sent packing from the European competition by Saracens in the quarter-finals last month.

Since that defeat they have responded with back-to-back victories domestically, and Saturday's win over Leinster has sent them back to the top of Conference A.

With just one game of the regular season left, Rennie is keen to see his men continue performing as they look to reach the final at Celtic Park.

Rennie told the club's official website: "We were pretty embarrassed by the Saracens performance, especially defensively.

"So a couple of big Irish sides who carry hard has been a good test for us, and it's about attitude.

"We're aware of what it's going to take to win a title. So, we've got three big games left hopefully."
