Willams a doubt for Wales' autumn internationals
Ospreys centre Scott Williams is a doubt for the start of Wales' autumn internationals after picking up a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old, who made the switch from Scarlets to Ospreys during summer, picked up the issue during last Saturday's Pro14 encounter with the Toyota Cheetahs at the Liberty Stadium, limping off after 49 minutes.
The Ospreys medical team have now said they expect Williams to be on the sidelines for between six and eight weeks in a best-case scenario, putting his participation in the autumn internationals in doubt.
The Welsh kick-off their Test series against Scotland on November 3, before taking on Australia, Tonga and South Africa.
Ospreys say Williams has begun his rehab programme, joining second row Lloyd Ashley in the treatment room after he injured his AC joint in action for the region's development side.
